Client: The Beautiful Art of Decay
I was invited to create an animation for the “Americans” song, performed by The Beautiful Art of Decay.
I was responsible for the concept and delivery. I asked members of the band to film themselves while singing the song. Then I masked their faces and timed it with the music. At the end, I added all the details and accents.
The goal was to give it the paper-cut feeling, six frames per second was supposed to resemble the frame-by-frame hand-made animation.
